Making a tea out of compost and compostable items is a great way to suppress disease, increase the number of nutrients available to plants, speed up the breakdown of toxins, and improve the nutritional quality and flavor of vegetables.
To mix a yard cutting tea, put your newly cut grass in a basin of water and permit to soak. Useful supplements like potassium, nitrogen, phosphorus, chlorophyll and amino acids will siphon from the grass into the water. Following three days or somewhere in the vicinity, strain off the fluid and utilize it to encourage your plants by pouring onto the roots or splashing on the clears out.
